ChemiCloud doesn’t spend much on ads, yet its name keeps coming up whenever people ask for a host with good support. ChemiCloud is a small, independent company that sells cPanel shared hosting, WordPress hosting, reseller plans and managed cloud VPS servers. In this ChemiCloud review we go through what each plan really costs on every billing term, what it renews at, where the servers are, how refunds and free migrations work, and who should (and shouldn’t) sign up.
We didn’t run our own speed or uptime tests for this review. Everything below comes from ChemiCloud’s own plan pages, checkout, Terms of Service, uptime page and help articles, checked one by one. ChemiCloud Review: The Quick Answer
ChemiCloud is a strong pick if you want cPanel hosting with more RAM than most budget plans give you, daily backups, a long 45-day refund window and server locations outside the US. The catch is the price after the first term: the $1.95/month Starter deal needs a 36-month prepayment and renews at $11.95/month, and the monthly price is $14.95. Go in planning for the renewal, not the banner.
| Our verdict | Well-equipped cPanel hosting with clear resource limits. Very good value on a 3-year term, expensive month to month. |
| Best for | Small business sites, blogs and WordPress sites with visitors in North America, Europe, Asia or Australia |
| Shared hosting price | From $1.95/month (36-month term), renews at $11.95/month |
| Money-back | 45 days on shared, WordPress and reseller hosting; 7 days on VPS |
| Control panel | cPanel (cPanel/WHM on reseller and VPS) |
| Backups | Daily, kept 10 to 30 days depending on plan |
| Support | 24/7 live chat and tickets |
| Data centers | 9 locations for shared hosting, 13 for cloud VPS |
Who Is ChemiCloud?
ChemiCloud was founded in 2016. The legal company behind it is CCHosting, Inc., with a registered address in Dover, Delaware, and the team works remotely around the world. ChemiCloud describes itself as privately owned and independent, and says it hosts sites for more than 150,000 website owners.
Being independent matters in this market. A lot of familiar budget brands now belong to the same few hosting groups, and plans tend to change when the owner does. ChemiCloud is still small enough that its support team is the main thing people talk about, and that’s the part of the business it leans on hardest.
Who ChemiCloud Is Best For (and Who Should Skip It)
ChemiCloud makes the most sense if you:
- Are happy to prepay three years to get the lowest price, and you’ve budgeted for the renewal.
- Want cPanel, LiteSpeed and daily backups without paying for add-ons.
- Have visitors in Europe, India, Southeast Asia or Australia, not just the US.
- Run a WordPress site that needs more memory than a typical entry plan offers.
- Build sites for clients and want white-label reseller hosting with billing software included.
You’ll probably be happier elsewhere if you want to pay month to month (the monthly price is several times the 3-year rate), if you only need the cheapest possible place for a hobby site, or if you want a VPS you can try for a few weeks before deciding, since VPS refunds close after just 7 days.

Pros and Cons
Pros
- Clear resource limits: CPU cores, RAM and inodes are printed on the plan page, and even Starter gets 2 GB of RAM.
- Daily backups on every shared plan, kept 10, 20 or 30 days.
- 45-day money-back guarantee on shared, WordPress, managed WordPress and reseller hosting.
- Free migrations of up to 200 cPanel accounts, requested within 60 days.
- Nine shared hosting locations across North America, Europe, Asia and Australia.
- Free domain for a year on 36-month shared and WordPress plans.
- 24/7 human support by live chat and tickets.
Cons
- Big renewal jump: Starter goes from $1.95 to $11.95/month after the first three years.
- Expensive monthly billing: $14.95/month for Starter with no intro discount.
- Starter hosts one website only.
- Only 7 days to get a VPS refund, and paid licenses on top of a VPS aren’t refundable at all.
- The free domain isn’t fully free if you cancel: its regular price is taken out of your refund.
Shared Hosting Plans and Pricing
ChemiCloud sells three shared plans: Starter, Pro and Turbo. Each one comes in three billing terms, and the term changes the price a lot. This is what the checkout showed us:
| Plan | 36 months | 12 months | Monthly | 36-month renewal |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | $1.95/mo ($70.20 upfront) | $3.49/mo ($41.90 upfront) | $14.95/mo | $11.95/mo |
| Pro | $2.95/mo ($106.20 upfront) | $4.49/mo ($53.90 upfront) | $19.95/mo | $17.95/mo |
| Turbo | $3.95/mo ($142.20 upfront) | $5.49/mo ($65.90 upfront) | $23.95/mo | $21.95/mo |
Promo prices cover your first term only. After that the plan renews at what ChemiCloud calls the regular rate, and the checkout lists it next to each term: $11.95/month for Starter on 36 months, and the full $14.95/month on the 12-month term. So the yearly deal is cheap for one year and then costs the same as paying monthly. If you’re fairly sure you’ll stay, the 36-month term is the better buy, both now and at renewal. ChemiCloud’s Terms also promise at least ten days’ notice of your renewal price before the payment is due.

Here’s how the three plans differ:
| Starter | Pro | Turbo | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Websites | 1 | Unlimited | Unlimited |
| NVMe storage | 20 GB | 35 GB | 50 GB |
| CPU / RAM | 1 core / 2 GB | 2 cores / 4 GB | 3 cores / 6 GB |
| Inodes (files) | 250,000 | 350,000 | 500,000 |
| Daily backups kept | 10 days | 20 days | 30 days |
| Suggested monthly visits | ~25,000 | ~50,000 | ~100,000 |
Every plan includes cPanel, LiteSpeed web servers, unlimited bandwidth and email accounts, free Let’s Encrypt SSL, a free Cloudflare CDN and Softaculous one-click installs. Pro and Turbo add one-click backup restores. Turbo also gets Redis and OPcache, HTTP/3 and malware protection, and ChemiCloud says it handles four times more traffic.
Our take: Starter is fine for a single blog or brochure site, but the one-site limit is tight. If there’s any chance you’ll add a second site, Pro is only a dollar more per month on the 3-year term and doubles the CPU and RAM. The visit numbers are ChemiCloud’s own rough guide, not a hard cap.
WordPress and Managed WordPress Hosting
ChemiCloud has two WordPress lines, and they’re very different products.
WordPress Hosting (WordPress Starter, Pro and Turbo) is the shared platform set up for WordPress. Prices, storage, backups and renewals match the shared plans above exactly, from $1.95/month on 36 months. The Pro and Turbo versions add one-click WordPress staging, and Turbo includes a malware scanner with removal. If you’re choosing between “Shared” and “WordPress” at ChemiCloud for a WordPress site, the WordPress plans give you the same price with the WordPress extras.
Managed WordPress is the premium tier, with plans sized by WordPress installs and estimated monthly visits. The smallest plan, Tiny, is $15/month for 1 install, 10 GB NVMe storage and roughly 100,000 visits, or $150 a year on annual billing (two months free). The first month is $1 if you pay monthly. Plans run all the way up to MWH 100 for 100 installs. Every managed plan includes LiteSpeed Enterprise, Redis object cache, unlimited PHP workers, unlimited free migrations, a 99.99% uptime guarantee and the 45-day money-back guarantee. Annual managed plans also come with a free domain.
For most blogs and small business sites, the regular WordPress plans are enough. Managed WordPress makes sense when a site earns money and you want more headroom without running your own server. If you’re still comparing WordPress hosts, our list of the best WordPress hosting puts ChemiCloud next to the alternatives.
Reseller Hosting
ChemiCloud’s reseller plans come in two flavors: “Storage Optimized” (more disk, fewer cPanel accounts) and “Accounts Optimized” (more accounts, less disk). Both include white-label cPanel and WHM, private nameservers, LiteSpeed, free SSL, daily backups kept 30 days, 3 GB RAM and 2 CPU per cPanel account, and free Blesta (or WHMCS or Blesta from Grow up) for billing your clients.
| Plan | Storage Optimized | Accounts Optimized | 1 to 12 months | 24 or 36 months |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Kickstart | 60 GB, 40 accounts | 40 GB, 60 accounts | $17.95/mo (regular $34.95) | $24.95/mo (regular $29.95) |
| Grow | 120 GB, 60 accounts | 60 GB, 90 accounts | $19.95/mo (regular $45.95) | $29.95/mo (regular $40.95) |
| Expand | 160 GB, 90 accounts | 90 GB, 140 accounts | $34.95/mo (regular $61.95) | $44.95/mo (regular $56.95) |
| Established | 250 GB, 130 accounts | 100 GB, 200 accounts | $49.95/mo (regular $77.95) | $59.95/mo (regular $72.95) |
The pricing here works the other way round from shared hosting. Short terms (monthly, 6 or 12 months) have the lowest intro price but the highest regular rate. The 24- and 36-month terms cost more upfront and renew lower. For a reseller business you plan to run for years, the longer term usually wins once you count the renewal.

Cloud VPS Hosting
ChemiCloud’s VPS plans are managed: the team handles software and security updates, monitoring and server-level caching, and every plan includes a cPanel/WHM license for one account and a dedicated IP address. You can bill monthly, quarterly or annually.
| Plan | Resources | Monthly or quarterly | Annual |
|---|---|---|---|
| Cloud 1 | 2 CPUs, 4 GB RAM, 80 GB NVMe, 4 TB transfer | $32.95/mo first term, then $59.95/mo | $54.95/mo ($659.40/year) |
| Cloud 2 | 4 CPUs, 8 GB RAM, 160 GB NVMe, 5 TB | $41.95/mo first term, then $92.95/mo | $84.95/mo ($1,019.40/year) |
| Cloud 3 | 6 CPUs, 16 GB RAM, 320 GB NVMe, 6 TB | $105.95/mo first term, then $164.95/mo | $149.95/mo ($1,799.40/year) |
| Cloud 4 | 8 CPUs, 32 GB RAM, 640 GB NVMe, 7 TB | $194.95/mo first term, then $299.95/mo | $274.95/mo ($3,299.40/year) |
That monthly intro price is a first-invoice discount, so treat the annual price as the real long-term cost. ChemiCloud also advertises one month free on 12-month VPS plans. Watch the extras at checkout: offsite backups ($9.95/month and up), Imunify360, LiteSpeed licenses, CloudLinux and bigger cPanel licenses all cost more, and none of them are refundable.

Honestly, a managed cPanel VPS at this price is for sites that have clearly outgrown shared hosting: busy stores, membership sites, or an agency moving many client sites onto one server. If you just want more speed for one WordPress site, Turbo shared hosting or a managed WordPress plan costs far less.
Data Centers and Uptime
Location is one of ChemiCloud’s real strengths. You pick your data center at checkout, and the choice depends on the product:
- Shared, WordPress and reseller hosting (9): Portland and Washington D.C. (US), Montreal (Canada), London, Frankfurt, Singapore, Seoul, Sydney and Mumbai.
- Cloud VPS (13): Washington D.C., Toronto, London, Amsterdam, Paris, Frankfurt, Milan, Madrid, Stockholm, Singapore, Tokyo, Sydney and Mumbai.
Pick the location closest to most of your visitors. That alone usually does more for load times than any plan upgrade.
ChemiCloud guarantees 99.99% uptime in any month, not counting scheduled or emergency maintenance or things outside its control, plus 100% public network uptime. If uptime drops below 99.99%, you get one free month, and one more free month for every full 1% lost below 99%. That’s more generous than the small percentage credits many hosts offer.
Free Website Migration
ChemiCloud’s migration team will move up to 200 cPanel accounts for free, including files, databases and email. From hosts without cPanel, it moves up to 10 accounts (files and databases) and up to 10 email accounts. You have to ask within 60 days of your order being activated: open a ticket to the Migrations department from the client area.
Outside those limits it’s paid: $10 per cPanel account for small batches (dropping to $1 each for 50 or more), $10 per non-cPanel site and $5 per email address. Domain transfers aren’t part of the service. ChemiCloud’s plan page says most moves take under an hour with no downtime, but that’s its own estimate, so keep your old host running until you’ve checked the new site.
Money-Back Guarantee and Refunds
The 45-day guarantee covers shared, WordPress, managed WordPress, reseller, email and Python hosting. VPS gets only 7 days. In both cases the clock starts when your account is activated, not when you place the order.

A few rules in the Terms are worth knowing before you order:
- If your plan came with a free domain, the domain’s regular price is taken out of your refund.
- Add-ons (dedicated IP, SSL certificates, licenses, remote backups and so on), domain fees and paid migrations aren’t refundable.
- Only first-time accounts get a refund.
- After the guarantee period there’s no refund for the rest of your term.
- If a yearly or longer plan renews by surprise, you can cancel and ask within 7 days (2 days for VPS) for a refund minus 10%, or the full amount as account credit. Monthly renewals aren’t refundable.
That renewal rule is more forgiving than most hosts, which usually just keep the money. Still, the easiest fix is to set a calendar reminder a few weeks before your renewal date.
Customer Support
Support runs 24/7/365 through live chat and tickets, and ChemiCloud makes a point of saying you’ll talk to a human, not an AI chatbot. Its own figures are a typical live chat reply in about 10 seconds and a median ticket resolution time of 35 minutes. We haven’t measured those ourselves, so take them as the company’s claims. A phone number is also listed on the contact page, but chat and tickets are clearly the main channels.
Support is also the thing customers mention most in public reviews of ChemiCloud, and the company’s knowledge base and video tutorials cover the usual cPanel and WordPress jobs if you’d rather fix things yourself.
Backups and Security
Shared, WordPress and reseller accounts get nightly backups through JetBackup, and you can make a full manual backup yourself at any time for free. One thing the Terms are blunt about: those nightly backups are “for ChemiCloud’s administrative purposes only” and aren’t guaranteed. So keep your own copy too, especially for a store. On the security side you get a web application firewall, Imunify-based protection, free SSL and DDoS mitigation across ChemiCloud’s network.
ChemiCloud Alternatives
ChemiCloud wins on features and locations for the price. Here’s when another host might suit you better:
- InterServer: if you hate long contracts. $2.50 for the first month, then $7/month on any term, though backups are weekly and servers are US-only. Read our InterServer review.
- Hosting.com (formerly A2 Hosting): from $1.99/month on a 4-year term, with daily backups and a free domain for the first year. Read our Hosting.com review.
- Hostinger: from $2.99/month on a 48-month term (renews at $10.99), with its own hPanel instead of cPanel.
For a wider comparison, see our roundup of the best web hosting picks.
Final Verdict: Is ChemiCloud Worth It?
Yes, if you buy it the right way. On a 36-month term ChemiCloud gives you more RAM, clearer limits, daily backups and more server locations than most budget hosts at a similar price, plus 45 days to change your mind. Even the $11.95 renewal on Starter is close to what the big brands charge.
Where it doesn’t make sense is month-to-month shared hosting or a quick VPS trial. Pick the WordPress plans over plain shared if you run WordPress, choose the data center nearest your visitors, keep your own backups, and use the 45 days to test properly. Do that, and ChemiCloud is one of the better-value cPanel hosts around.
